During your initial visit, we'll ask you about your medical history and areas you'd like us to focus on. Then, we'll leave the room to give you privacy while you undress to your comfort level and lay down on the massage table. We'll use a sheet to cover any areas of your body that aren't being massaged. You can communicate with us throughout the session to let us know if you'd like more or less pressure, or if you're feeling uncomfortable in any way.
I recommend wearing comfortable clothes to your massage, if possible. If not, try to bring a comfortable change of clothes to wear afterwards.
During your massage, you undress to your comfort. You’ll be under a sheet for your modesty. Most people fully undress or just leave their underwear on. However, I am more than happy to perform therapeutic massage through comfortable clothes without oil.
This can vary depending on your individual needs and preferences. Some people benefit from weekly massages, while others may only need one every month or two. We can work with you to create a personalized massage plan that meets your specific needs.
Optimally, we’d all be freshly showered before receiving a massage. However, sometimes we’re coming straight from work or other activities. In these cases, I’d recommend having showered that same day and freshening up prior to your appointment. Wet wipes and deodorant reapplication can do wonders and is better than excessive cologne or perfume application.
We require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or do not show up, you will be charged the full price of the session.
